bfg 5900 fx 128 meg

who says you cant run a geforce fx 5900 on a 250 watt power supply? i just installed my card 3 days ago everything works great!No lag or flickering.{This card rocks!!!!!!} what is the normal o/c for a 5900 128meg version?

its a compaq 5330 us system i was not sure if was going to work with the 250 watt ps it has but i was suprised!!! it must be under rated i guess as for as the watts are concerned
when i try to o/c {auto detec} i only get 410/870. is this low for this card its a BFG geforce fx 5900 128 meg. but when i move the sliders over
manualy i can get up 460/890 or better:D

hmm i do recall seeing a picture of 5900U in like a compaq. Anyway works for u then coo enjoy the games.

HOW CAN I GET A HIGHER O/C RATE THAN WHAT IM GETTING 410/869. DOES IT HAVE TO WITH YOUR POWER SUPPLY?

How high a card overclocks depends on the specific card you get. One BFG card might overclock higher than another. I had a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro. Many reviews got the card up to a 430 MHz core. Mine would do 405 tops. It's luck of the draw.

Nobody say U can't put FX5900 on a 250W PSU. PSU help u overclock more and also stability~

I got Leadtek FX5900 core @ 520 and Mem @ 985 now on a 350W PSU
