View Full Version : Agp problem

I have a leadtek a340td ( gf fx 5200 ) and a agp 4x capable mboard... set to agp 4x in the bios :) . The problem is that the information about the card in the card/(driver) properties tells me that it is a agp 1x bus type. I have the 44.03 driver and dx9b ... everything working fine... so whats all the buzz... is it 4x anyway or really 1x set ????

I see from another post of yours that you have a Via chipset motherboard. I know that older Via drivers can set the agp 'safe mode', which basically locks the AGP speed to 1x. Unless you've recently updated your drivers, I would go get these.
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2 has the 4.48 drivers.
Hope that helps.
