View Full Version : When the Catal 3.7 going to be released at last???
No I am not a Upgrade junkie!!! :D
Is just that 3.6 was problematic for me in the OPENGL code
and now i am using still 3.5 to play games like Neverwinter nights with no problem (almost)
I was hoping for these week as almost until now every 1-2 months a new ATI driver was released
But still i do not see any...

You need to catch up with current events. Drivers have been comming out about every 6 weeks for a few revisions now.

These patch gives better performance and not any type of fixes for the ATI cards as i heard....
I do not understand why others have not these problem with CAT 3.6 and NWN and i have it
Why is with 3.5 i do not have the problem and i have it with 3.6

Well actually we are still on the 6 week cycle but are moving to every four weeks after this next posting. So take the last posting add 6 weeks to it and you roughly have your next availability date

He means six weeks from when the 3.6s were released (posted).
I wonder if their saving all their new features (more AA & AF!) for the 4.0s which would come out at the end of November. Or maybe they'll surprise us with the 3.7s or 3.8s to coincide with the 9900 release in September.

Actually did you know how our version scheme works?
X.YY
Where X is the year number and YY is the consecutive release.
So for example the 10th CATALYST to be released in the year 2006 will simply be called version 06.10
The first version released in the year 2004 will be 04.1
and the next CATALYST will be 3.7

Simple enough!:D
So I guess we'll see some new features sooner rather than later, thanks.;)
