I can't believe I'm actually excited about a game... wth...:captnkill:

I think it's been about 4 years since I've genuinely been excited about a game... as long as they don't dumb down Skyrim for consoles this game could truly be awesome... I love how they are handling the NPC's, and all the attention to detail... and I can already see so many things the mod community could be doing if they give them a good toolkit...

Over 150 Custom designed dungeons...:drooling:

ps. I know Skyrim has it's own thread, but this vid deserves special kudos...:p

Oh man. I sat through the press demo at E3...AMAZING!!! I can't wait for this. Unfortunately, it was shown on a 360, so the graphics will only be better on PC. I really can't stress how excited I am for this game. The gameplay is insane based off of what was shown to us!

Yup. I'm interested in this game more than any other. :)

This and BF3 are top of my list.

I just finished Oblivion 4 with the mod that gives you traditional RPG levelling. I gotta say I had a blast. The default level system is crap. I hated it, but if Skyrim uses the same system as Fallout, then colour me Redeemed and Excited also.

What mod was that crainger? Maybe I will play through with that.

Same! I'm glad there's actually a game coming that I can anticipate anxiously, seems like it's been a long time since that's been the case. I'm looking forward to ME3 as well but that's pushed back till next Spring. :p

I think it's a mixture of the two. I'm not sure if you actually earn experience points but they said at least some of the dungeons wouldn't be "leveled". I'd expect something closer to Morrowind. And yeah Oblivion is vastly better with the XP leveling mod.

I'm looking forward to this too. Not much of an rpg type of gamer, but the Witcher has me hooked, now I need a new rpg fix.

:) The Witcher games are fantastic, but Oblivion just left me bored. Couldn't finish it.

This looks like great replacement for my Witcher addiction. :)

I tried reinstalling and playing The Witcher again a few days ago and couldn't make it past the prologue. I don't know why I can't get into that game but it just bores me immediately. :(

Yeah, there are some boring stretches, but the game as a whole really hooked me.

Back OT though, every video I've seen of Skyrim just screams "Too good to be true", but I'm willing to pay the cash to find out for myself - something about dragons in a game. I'm a sucker for them

No kidding. I'm trying to remind myself of all the pre-release hype for Oblivion and how (at release anyway) disappointed I was with the final product. But I keep watching the videos and forgetting about that as soon as I see the new character models (they look like real people now!) and combat gameplay.

Just finished the main quest in Oblivion a few days ago, going through now just doing side quests, the expansions, etc. Still love that game, and know I'll love this one.

As a whole this is actually a very exciting year for me regarding gaming. More than one title that I'm *really* looking forward to. Some not due out till next year of course but still. Last time I was this excited regarding gaming was... goodness, probably 5 years ago.

No, tried that one, not very good.

I used Oblivion XP. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15619

It's best if you stick to the official quests and expansions. Although there is a list of supported mods.

Oh hell yeah I've played some Demon's Souls. Which reminds me, I'm really looking forward to Dark Souls too.
