slackware 9.0 kernel 2.4.21 nvidia problem

Only one error message in Xfree86.0.log
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to obtain a shared memory identifier.
my config file have:
Load ¨glx¨
driver ¨nvidia¨
....
my hardware is TNT2 vanta 16MB PCI
kernel 2.4.21
slackware 9.0
chipset sis, K6-2 500MHz ...
If i startx then initialize nvidia driver but system has halt and one thing (ctrl+alt+del)
is a rescue

Does your config have load "extmod" aswell?
And did you configure the kernel yourself, in which case please post your .config.
