I just ordered a Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/650-8X XP(Geforce 4 TI4200 non gold sample )from Ewiz.com, and I"m wondering what is the core/memory clockspeed on this board...is it going to be 250/444(the old NV25 clockspeed), or 250/513(NV28 Clockspeed)? please help

According to Gainward, XP stipulates (Golden Sample). Clocks are 250/500. Says the same for non-XP models as well... go figure.

One more question(kinda unrelated)....

1) On this forum I've seen a little discussion regarding Gainward Geforce 4 TI4200 being unreliable and having display problems....Did Gainward fix these problems? Is it likely that I"ll encounter these problems when I try to use my Gainward card?

There is a huge thread about the problems here: http://www.amdforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=166031&highlight=Gainward+ti4200

Hehe, before you get all blown out of shape you need to check the caps on your card. I can't remember exactly (but its in that thread) but it only affected cards with a certain type of capacitors. There were two in the top right hand corner, IIRC.

Those cards perform well, just as long as you don't have the wrong one.

RMA specific info is also in that thread.

Good luck!

One more thing, if you can't find the info you need (that is one humongus thread!) just PM 'Jerky' he can fill you in with the right info...think he started that thread. ;)
