After a lot of silence on the stereo 3D front, AMD is finally bringing an anticipated new feature with the 11.8 Driver Preview (beta software) just after the release of the official 11.7 driver. The feature I‚??m talking about is AMD HD3D technology stereo 3D support over DisplayPort on products such as Samsung 750 and 950 series 3D monitors. Other than that the new driver is bringing some performance improvements. So if you have a Samsung 750 or 950 series 3D monitor you can try the 11.8 Driver Preview in stereo 3D mode over the DisplayPort and report your experience in the comments below. Unfortunately I still don‚??t have access to any of these new 3D-capable monitors from Samsung in order to try it, so it is up to you.
