Hello,

I have an Alienware M14X with a nvidia gtx555M in there currently on Nvidia drivers 267.21

I went to the Nvidia site to grab the latest drivers and it still says my card is not supported. Hardware IDs are PCI\\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DCD&SUBSYS_04911028&REV_A1

Is there a way to modify the one of the install files to make the installer happy about accepting on installing drivers?

Thanks,
Steph

You could try laptopvideo2go (http://laptopvideo2go.com/drivers).

You may have to search a bit...or are you running linux as your nic suggests? If so hit up our nvidia linux forum.

Hey thanks for your reply :) I run both. Linux never gives me any trouble.

As for Windows, I ended up modifying the INF file by following a blog. I can post it here if that is of interest for anyone.
