When i run 3dmark2001 i get low score in nature test around 50-60 points.
I installed previous drivers i had, 44.65 and now the score is around 80 points.
my system is:amd 2600,nforce2 asus a7n8x deluxe,512 mb ram333mhz, gainward ti4800se overclocked to 300/650, winxp sp1

i dont really care much about it, i never had any problems with 44.65 drivers but maybe this would be interesting to someone who cares about such things.

Just use the older drivers. Long as they play your games without such a performance loss, who cares?

Yeah, as long as i don't notice a performance hit in my real games i really don't care. 3DMark is just a eye-candy generator.

That and it's a good test for overclocking stability. If you can complete a 4 hour run without any problems you know your video card is golden. :)

There are specific version drivers in which the Nature test takes a dive in fps .Apparently they have removed any optimisations for the benchmark. On my 5800, from 118 fps, I get around 85. Same happens with some versions on my other pc with a 4200. From 75fps, it scores around 53.
