Nvidia Driver failed to install

I can't update anymore to any new driver BETA or WHQL.

Intel Pentium E2180
Gigabye P35 DS3L
EVGA 9600 GT. Installed EVGA precision software.


2) Please indicated the previous driver version you were using
previous driver 270.51.

3) How was the driver installed?
express installation.

4) Is Microsoft UAC enabled/disabled?
UAC disabled.

5) Have you used any registry cleaner/optimizer/security tool since the last successful NVIDIA driver installation?
used driver cleaner once but couldn't update so I installed the same 270.51 driver again.

6) Are you using any anti-virus program? If so, which one?
ESET nod32 disabled.

7) If you can, please follow the instructions below to provide us with your installation logs.

Go to Start > Run > type msconfig > Enter > disable NOD32 through the services and startup there. Uninstall old Nvidia drivers. Navigate to C:\Nvidia\DisplayDriver Delete the 270.51 folder in there. Reboot with msconfig settings install driver. restart with computer back to normal.

Thanks that helped a lot. I did a couple of things in addition and it worked.
