Does anyone knwo the specs of the NV38 Ultra for:

- core and memory speed +type: DDRI or DDRII (they say core: 550 and memory 1GIG
- pixel shader/vertex shader
- pipelines
- memory controller

And maybe post some links if you reply

A lot of THanks

256bit DDR-2 oh man that's really really expensive, it's why the 256MB Radeon 9800 Pro is expensive and only a 700MHz clock @ 1 GHz, ouch. I think it would cost around $600+US.

I would say the core clock would be 500MHz, not likly it will be 550MHz without some impressive cooling.

Woah, I never realized my GPU:RW NV38 avaibility info was so out of date! Hehe :)
Should be fixed now - as for the clocks, that greatly depends on what ATI will do.

nVIDIA already has a 5GB bandwith lead and an't really leading that much soo.......

Nvidia needs to be more efficient, make the shaders and whatever stronger and use 8x2 which they will for the nv40 anyway

for the R360, ati is supposed to have a 450mhz core on a .15u process....sure, the cooling will be creative, but they're managing it. if nvidia gets their act together, they should get some pretty damn high clocks out of that .13u...and they're switching to IBM for the fab process, so maybe that'll yield better results.

Yeah but how many FX5900 Ultras do you know that can hit that high? Without water cooling?

Hmmm...I rather thought that ATI's clocks would depend on what nVidia does. ;)

Do we know who's set to "launch" first? (Not that clock speeds are always set in stone even at launch time....)

AT the moment it seems to be ATi.

If we r hearing 450 core u can bet it will be 420 to 425. ;)
