Whenever I overclock my 2.4C CPU, my 333mhz DDR RAM runs at 266mhz. Any ideas why this happens?

I use a ASUS P4P800 mobo, Transcend PC2700 256mb DDR RAM and standard cooling that comes with the box pack.

It's the memory ratio you have to change it.

And how do I do that?

Depends on board, you have to set memory to manual and select the ration devider, 3:4 or seomthing It should tell you what speed the memory will run at so you will have to go trough them one by one.

So anyway yeah do the above. What mite have happened is when u increased ur FSB they memory ratio adjusts itself to 1:1(most likely). U can select this to manual and set ur own ratio.

However the best setting is if you can get it to run nsync with the processor FSB.
