Don't know where this question belongs, but since this is a new 28 nm generation, I would like to ask how does nVidia normally release their mid-range and low-range offerings after their flagship high-end splash?

Just interested if nVidia has something to compete against the AMD Radeon 7750; low wattage requires no 6-pin external power, and most likely low-profile in the future. Does the mid/low-end appear a couple of months later?

Been out of the loop since 2008 sorry. I remember in those days it was nVidia first, followed by ATi, then a new nVidia driver release afterwards.

GK106 and GK107 will be the lower end cards. GK106 replaces the GTX 550Ti and GK107 replaces the GT 440.

Assuming the same 4x more shaders apply, GK106 will have 768SP/CUDA cores(unconfirmed) and GK107 has 384 CUDA cores(confirmed through the various reviews of the Acer Ultrabook with GeForce GT 640M GPU).

Will these cards be out by May 15? AMD will have had a two month advantage with the 7770 and 7750.

Same boat here. I'm resisting to get a 7850 as the 5850 had served me well but I feel like going to the green side this time.
