That's because we have got them all. :D

Pretty much all sold the first 2 days. If this was AMD we'd be calling this a paper launch.

I may sell one of my 6970's and my 560 to get one. Need to move my HTPC to a new case first so I can fit the 6970 in it.

When I benchmark these 680 cards with my 470 gtx either heaven or 3dmark11 it will lock up, But when I disable the 470 card, the benchmarks run fine without lockups.:(

Is the 470 really necessary?

Instead don't you mean Batman? ha

Hardocp ran Batman w/physx with just two 680s at surround resolution and it looked very playable.

just 2? I ran Arkham Asylum with 1 gtx 260 and med or low physx and it ran great. 1 gtx 680 should destroy it. whats wrong with the game?

I got mine in a couple of days ago. I was so dang busy with work yesterday that I never even got a chance to open the box. Got it in today though (EVGA 680). The last time I upgraded with when I bought x2 5850's the day they came out. Supposedly everything says that in crossfire x2 5850's are on par with a GTX 580. So this shouldn't been that much of an upgrade.

I don't even know how to explain this, but my 2D desktop looks A LOT better, the background image looks sharper, as well as text. It's a night and day difference (did do a clean install too).

And, (omg I have wood), I put Skyrim on Ultra and have a lot of texture mods. Skyrim looks A CRAPLOAD better. Like standing still it looks a crapload better, and when moving around it also looks a crapload more smooth. PLUS, even after I got in a fight with a dragon, and a dozen enemies AND went for a run around and fight in Whiterun, it stayed pegged at 60fps on Ultra the whole time (1920x1080).

Awesome Awesome Awesome. For the record, going from x2 5850's to a single 680 GTX is a MASSIVE noticable difference.

I haven't looked up when temp ranges I should see on stock. This is from playing Skyrim for about 10 minutes on Ultra (look ok?):

^ hey is that really saying the GPU was only around 72% used while Skyrim was maxxed on Ultra? (wow)

where is your sli bridge?

His SLI bridge is more like the SLI ribbon, you can clearly see it in some the pics

Those backplates look very nice. it would be good if Asus did something along those lines.

I have the cloth on the bottom to hide some wires and the big thing for the infra tubes connection.
I have the 470 working with the 2 680's in Sli now, Allso I'm Using these cards with the Acer 3dNvision monitor, So I'm a happy camper.:D

I thought the cloth was there to soak up the sweat from all that horsepower:p

I wouldn't worry to much about BF3 performance. The latest patch has made the game horrible.

WOOT!

Just snagged an EVGA 02G-P4-2680-KR GTX 680 for $509.00 on Newegg. The Fricken Things were sold out within 3 minutes after I clicked "Submit Order".

It was a stroke of luck... EVGA auto-notified me of their Superclocked model avaialbility, and by the time I had entered my CC... they were sold out... so I checked Newegg (even though they were supposed to auto-notify me as well, but didn't)... and snagged the stock-clocked puppy as soon as I saw it was in stock.

DAMN THEY GO QUICK!!!

I didn't think eVGA SC were even in the market yet... They don't list it on newegg...

We're talking about Arkham City which is an entirely different beast from Arkham Asylum because of DX11, it's more demanding. I just think having three two slot cards is overkill and bad in terms of heat. Especially when one is just doing lousy physx.

:(

You're not kidding. My favorite game atm, but it's pretty bad. May have to stop playing until the next patch and go and play some Skyrim in surround.

I know how much you like the game. It's a shame they just broke it in time for the new cards :thumbdwn:

So does that mean that Hayden released an update for his Skyrim fix?

Not yet, i'm using Halifax's fix and it works fine
