They're all in slow motion for some odd reason, for example a lot of the folks here use animated GIFs for their avatars, as well as the smileys on the board.

Do you know what I mean? It's very distracting. :(

This is a problem that's existed in Opera for forever. This is just one of the many reasons why that browser ain't worth the code it's written on.

It's a bug in the 7.x version of opera.
I believe animated gifs worked properly from version 3.x-6.x.

Yea, I like Opera, but I can't STAND that bug and I refuse to use it until they fix that. :)

And they've had what? Like 9-10 beta versions out in the last few weeks? If it takes them as long to fix that as it did to get these forums to render properly, it ain't gonna be fixed until Opera 10. Do the devs not notice these things themselves?

Well I've found some minor graphical glitches on some of them.

Using v7.11. Sometimes the animated gifs work fine, other times they just aren't animated at all (ie, they stay still). Why this is, I dunno. It's not a huge deal to me.
The bigger problem for me is the stability issue. So far sun's java 1.3 is the only one I've found that seems to be very stable with this thing. Otherwise it'll crash every few days like clockwork on me. And even now, w/1.3 installed, it still goes down on occasion.
