No, it's not a Greenpeace ad! I have problems saving nV News front page in my computer...
Since several days, maybe 2 weeks, every time I try to save it in .mht I get an error!!! :( It just can't save the page. No problems to save it in plain .html.

Some times it happens in other sites, and usually reloading, or in the worst cases, restarting IE, fixes the problems. Ads are usually what bothers in these cases.

Any clues? Anybody experiencing the same problem?

I tried in another computer and got the same error! :(

Always using IE6.

After the progress bar shows about 25% complete, I get the error message "The web page could not be saved to the selected location" in IE version 6.0.2800.

Not sure why it's happening, but its a feature I used quite often. I'll start an investigation soon, but right now I'm working on a few important projects.

The File and Save As menu option in IE. It saves a complete web page, including all the images, to your PC.

It's probably something to do with the banner ads. They can be a major source of grief sometimes.

Especially when they are loaded with spybots and web bugs :eek2:

Yep with Mozilla Firebird 0.7 (ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/releases/0.7/MozillaFirebird-0.7-win32.zip) the save page works and looks good
