This is veeerrryyy interesting! I like that work model, but could it be applicable to most job models out there?

The only main issue I can see it not working well for is customer service. If a person for the contact center makes their money on making the customer happy, they will probably cost the business more money by simply exchanging or returning products that are not bad at all. Rather than take some time to troubleshoot the issues it would be far easier to ship out a replacement so you can get off the phone quickly and get more business. It could work if maybe there was an additional metric for completing the tasks for the least amount of money. So they would give you a little bit more per transaction if you can fix the issue without spending money.
