What surprises me is how the 9600 Pro gets about 4 times as many FPS in HL2 than the 5600FX To Go. :eek:

why is a surprise? the mobility 9600 and the fx5600go are similiar to their desktop counterparts.

Actually the 9600 has optimizations to its shaders and is better at Ps 2.0 then it's desktop part, i believe the M10 benchmarks at hardocp found that out

9600 'Pro' should be M11, IIRC M10 is 9600np:confused:

Ouch! The FX Go5650 truly got pretty severe beating in the Anandtech article. No wonder ATi is doing well in the mobility section.
