hehe dont worry guys.. im still here:D and man.. i love this card. it is much better than i expected

everything runs smoother, everything looks better... in all of my games the fps are much more stable... ravenshield, ut2003 rallysport..
i have no problems with any games crashing or anything.. everything just runs perfect. im gonna get some ramsinks to stick on the memory on the 9800 pro cuz those babys get hot!:)

my only question is how do i get a game to run at 75hz refresh rate?? with my nvidia card i fixed the 60hz bug by forcing it to run under 75hz at 1600x1200... but i dont see any options like this with the ati... i dunno.. i dont really care either cuz i still love this card :D

Man these new P4's are the sh!t. I mutitask like mad and run folding with no slow downs. :eek:

U will need a program to force refresh. I'm not using one. But I do need to get one myself. ;)

Go into display panel--->displays tab, click the "Monitor" tab and you'll see something under the "Attributes" tab that reads "Refresh Rate Override". Pick whatever refresh rate you want and it will force it for both OpenGL and D3D. :)

Gonna buy an 9800 XT (Or whatever the R360 is going to be known as)...
Am completely p****d off at the whole Fx performance / IQ fiasco.

From what the local Games Retailer told me, they said they would have Hl2 sometime in october??? i dunno where they got that from since there is no word thats it near completion...on a happier note, Halo is (they said) definately out end of september here! :D Cannot wait....

Can't blame 1 companies mistakes due to the other company.
I think it may use a OEM version of the software where it doesn't have FX code in after all it's being bundled with a Generic DX9 card. This could give them a boost in sales also if they can get it out the door before the retail version.

It took 1 month extra for Greek Computer stores to have available the p4 3.2C
and with a Real big price tag and tax (FPA) (the same goes with 9800tx)

but the coupon idea does sound reasonable.

it would also be better as you'd get a full box and manual as opposed to a paper sleeve with a CD.

and maybe the coupon would be for the standard version and you could add a little money of your own to get the collectors version.
