Looks like another big win for ATI. (http://gear.ign.com/articles/437/437990p1.html?fromint=1)

It is Kind of funny to google news search nvidia and ati. There is a stark contrast in the pos-neg news stories out there on the net between the two right now.

I predicted this would happen a year ago, except that it would be Nvidia with the graphics chip in a tv. I don't understand why they would put a 3D chip in a Sony standard CRT rear projection HDTV (that is if next years model is CRT), I would think it would cause burn in. That's why I went with the 60" LCD sony.

Sure am glad I dumped my NVidia stock last year and snarfed up ATI. The rate they are going, I might be able to retire early. WOOHOO!

I've always liked how ATi does TV better than nVidia, I still have my 32Mb Rage Fury (non-Pro) to do any tv-out things with. (The last card that you could disable macrovision on, and it has BEAUTIFUL picture quality!)

Kudos to ATi on another win.
