View Full Version : What drivers do you use for your GF4Ti4xxx?

What are some good driver sets to test out?
I use the 45.24 set on XP Pro using a slighly overclocked TI4200.
I play most things using optimized (through RivaTuner) 8xAF and 2x FSAA.
On some of the newer games I find I need to turn of the FSAA to get smooth play.

I've been using 44.10 for awhile now on my GeForce 4 Ti4200 and it seems to do well all around. I kinda just use whatever works and gives me no problems. I should try out some of the newer ones and see if that effects performance....
Currently using the 50 series.. I'll update my sig one day.. They run fine, though a little un-"optimized" it seems. I like the refresh rate over-rider works for both gl and DX now. But my tripple buffering seems bust.. :(
Probably stick with them till they're officially released.. Which will probably be quite soon.
I use the 45.23s with no problems on my 4600 and the speed seems to be decent. I'll be sticking with those until I hear tell of something that might work better.

Thanks for the help everybody.
I guess I'll try the 45.23s first and go from there.
Atleast I got a basis now....so many flookin' drivers to choose from.

30.82's. I started losing quality and performance with the 40s. 2x anti-aliasing was knackered in Morrowind too. So I'm now using 13 month old drivers!
Well, at least until I can install catalysts.

For 98se 30.82s are the way to go, for XP who cares? ;)
