Good work, JoanthanM... another good NvNews review. :)
The reviewing staff on here are very good... I wonder how MikeC manages to keep them here?
One point on the review... I did find it strange that there was no external power connector either, most other 5200 Ultra variants I've seen have it.
Well... congrats on an excellent review (and another varied spread of benchmarks), must be tough with all this bruhaha going on atm, but hang in there, you're doing a great job. :D

The GeForce FX 5200 Ultra chip is aimed at providing DX9 functionality to the casual gamer who doesn't mind playing current games at 800x600 or 1024x768 with a few features disabled. Depending on the game, the GeForce FX 5200 Ultra is also capable of providing 2X FSAA capabilities at acceptable frame rates, which is a definite plus and a feature that the previous generation of similarly priced card couldn't provide.
With respect to the above quote, I feel that it was worded poorly. If you read this for what it is, it seems to indicate that this card provides DX9 functionality at lower resolutions, albeit with some things disabled.
Two things joined at the hip jump out at me:
A. I don't believe this card can achieve playable framerates in DX9 titles.
B. I would like to see DX9 tests back this up, other than one in which nVidia has clearly been cheating in. I realize it's tough to find a lot of DX9 gaming titles, but you could easily put together enough tests to at least give you a basis.
Based on what we know right now, and what can be surmised with respect to HL2 results, it seems that this card is rather worthless for doing any type of DX9 functionality.
