the question is who speaks French to translate ... and what is that
AMD me ... at the bottom of conclusion, look like an advertimsent???
Anyway... 2,4 FX doesn't gain much according to them :(
only suprising thing is athlon 64 on the heals of .2 ghz faster FX all the time???

Intel is kicking ass it looks like. :) LMAO you shouldn't judge it yet thats only using DDR333 not DDR400!!! You might as well compaire a Intel single channel board to a dual channel DDR :p

Yesh, it's clear that AMDFX 51 is the clear winner in the GZip benchmark. :D

Exactly. Even dispite this, the A64 FX still manages to keep up in a vast majority of benchmarks and even win quite afew. The only thing dissapointing in this review is the lack of PC3200 use for the AFX.
I suggest waiting for some proper reviews.. i'm getting sick of these wannabe ones that cripple a system by certain hardware or settings they must use and only briefly mention it, and do not follow up saying that it will perform better if hardware/setting that take full advantage of the processor were used.
Also heard that nVIDIA's nForce3 only uses 600MHz HT so thats a bottle neck as it needs 800MHz. Keep in mind that even with PC2700 is will run slower then it should due to it's limited 600MHz HT which is pretty much it's FSB. This won't effect the Athlon 64 but will effect the Athlon64 FX & Opteron processors due to their higher bandwith usage.
I believe the nForce3 was designed for the clawhammer and at the last miniute was ported over to the Opteron just so they can get them out the door to make some quick sales.

That P4EE rocks, It would be great if they werent being released in limited quantities. :(
I noticed the P4EE is more expensive then the 64FX

Keep in mind that the link that is 600mhz is only the link to AGP PCI etc.. the one to memory is full speed.. if it wasnt, nvidia would be a laughing stock..wait, they already are.. well their mobo's arnt ;p

Yep, $849... and that will be in Oct-Nov.. the Fx could have dropped in price if AMD manages to manufacuter more chips.. If they dont, then i dont think we will see prices drop until next year, due to the increased demand it would create and thus.. selling chips faster than they can make them:p
are any of the benches using registered ddr400 for the athlon64 FX benches?

Those are my 3 fav's that use decent setups:) Have fun.
Toms, Anad use PC3200 ECC and they show a nice improvement Toms has them in both 400 & 333MHz so you can see the diffrence :) Just looked it seems Intel hasn't even officaly announce the P4EE and won't ship till November. Looks like a paper lauch to stamp on AMD's launch.
