Like I already said in a thread almost a month ago, the 51.75 will NOT be released officially.

The official ones will be 52.xx because the previous serie (51.xx) is not mature enough to be widespread.

For sure the 51.75 will never see the light of day as an offical driver release.

I am really hoping for a Det release this week:(

Forget about the 51.75, they're not really worth it, unless you actually have HL2 benchmark demo I guess. Almost every game crashes/lags with them.
Yep, a new set of detonators was supposed to be released this week. I haven't heard of it anymore since monday though...

I have to disagree. I really like the 51.75's, though I only have a Ti4200. The added features of the control panel are cool, and everything is faster.
People are mixed when it comes to these things, but I'm happy with them.
They got me 25,053 points in Aquamark3. Not bad for an old 64mb AGP4x card.

I don't like the 51.75's at all.
PROs - Increased frame rate (much smoother), no noticable degradation of picture (Tested with HALO)

CONs - Only 1 I've found so far, but it's a biggie! These drivers crash randomly in games (Halo, TW2003 Demo, etc). I havn't tried 1 game that has run though till I was done.

Went back to the 45.33's. Much more stable (but lower framerate). I'll keep these until the official 50.xx comes out....

I noticed serious IQ loss in MC2.
Lighting was all wrong, you shine your headlights on a car and the car didn't even react to the light (didn't get any brighter)
