OK. I have an ASUS A7N8X-LA (Which is he HP form of the A7N8X-VM) and I installed a new power supply (400Watts), which i NEED for my graphics card, and i used ASUS PC Probe, and this is what it tells me:

+12V - 16.32 - *flashing*+12V out of Threshold!!!*flashing*
+5V - 6.854 - *flashing*+5V out of threshold!!!!!*flashing*
+3.3V - 4.08 - *flashing*+3.3V out of threshold!!!!!*flashing*
VCore - 4.08 - OK

also, SiSoftware Sandra Standard says this about my CPU:

Core Voltage Rating - 1.650V
CPU Voltage - 4.08V
Warning!! - Vcore higher then rated Maximum. Check Vcore Setting!!!!!

And i also get temperatures of about 70 degrees Celcius.

I cannot change voltages in the BIOS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! Is this even safe??? everything is running smooth, no problems at all. so you think i should add more case fans or whatnot, and is the power supply going to hurt my system???

I would say that if your voltages were normal with your old powersupply, then something is wrong with the new one.

If they are out of wack comparered to your old one, then I would stop using the new one asap. Someone may well give some more advice, but thats what I would do ;)

well im using my old power supply now, and the voltages show up the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i dont think it was my power supply. is it because im using an Athlon xp 2600+, where its only 2.08 ghz, but they used more power on the CPU voltage to beef up the speed???
