9800xt is still a good buy with few Directx9 games out

Since the major directx 9 game is not coming anytime soon due to the so called "hack/trojan" story.

Do you think this will hit ATI's XT card sales since most directx 9 games will be available around the time the "420" (or what ever they'll call it) comes out.

and still coming...

ATI TX is a good product but not so great compared to previous 9800pro etc

It mite but then again it is not like they were selling 9800xt's like hot cakes. They cost too much and most people are buying a 9800np or a 9800p.

Heh, most people arent buying anything! All the 9800NPs are gone and the 9800 Pro still costs $300. If anything, most people are buying 9600 Pros :)
