Ok i got a new SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZS PLTM, it seems that after i installed it and its drivers, there seems to be some conflict
with its drivers and the nvidia drivers.

After installing it and drivers XP starts to boot up, i get the starting windows xp screen than everything goes blank(dark).
But i can hear stuff loading like windows was ok.

If i unload all my video drivers for my fx 5900 or load in safe mode
all seems ok.
But as soon as i load any video driver for my fx it happens again.

Has anyone had a problem like this.

Thanks

Yes I did have that problem......I recommend, reinstall SB drivers, and update them with new ones....Also, try placing SB into different PCI slot (if you have available)...It worked for me...I think this problem is caused by sharing IRQ....

If the PCI slot is right below the AGP slow, the AGP card will be shared with it. The problem is that the SB Live! on lines don't do PCI bus mastering very well. This adds to conflicts (My SB Live took about 5 hours to get it working STABLE because of my 686b Southbridge which has MAJOR problems with it). And if you can't get it running, disable ACPI and that might work, too.
