Whenever i try to install a driver for my nVidia geforce 4 mx 460 it doesnt work. When I use the setup provided at www.nvidia.com a message comes up that my VGA device isnt installed properly when I log back into windows XP. When I use the auto detect hardware feature which comes with windows it finds the right drivers, but then states that the required INF file is missing. I am currently running my pc with no hardware support so please help me!

Maybe something got corrupted in the file you downloaded. Try downloading it again. If it still doesn't work, try a different driver version.
From your post but make sure the video card is seated properly in the AGP slot. I had a weird problem once with a GF2 and found out it was not in the slot all the way. It worked but not correctly. Pushed it in when I found out it wasn't seated right and voila! Everything worked :)

What kind of card did you have in there before the GF4? Or were you just updating the drivers, and if so from which ones?
