Well I never thought I'd be seeing an actor like Schwarzenegger as our governor but then again this state did elect Reagan in the past. Perhaps during the next elections we'll have Tom Cruise or Sylvester Stallone run! :rolleyes:

Yeah I voted against it as well and with a Dem. legislature I doubt Arnie will get much done. Who wants to take bets on when there will be a recall Schwarzenegger movement? I give it about 2-3 months max before one is started.

He's ever so slightly right wing, but more libertarian than most (not to disimilar from myself i believe), he believes in a smaller de-centralised government system, is pro-abortion etc.. well afaik

Come on, T3 wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be! I watched "Hollow Man" on TV yesterday, THAT was bad! :D

On the political side of things, he said he wanted to put an end to corruption.. thats a good idea anyhow..

The LA Times is the worst news paper I know in the US. It is completely liberal bias trash. It had a campaign against Anorld the whole way. Did theLA Times (http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/recall/la-me-schwarz8oct08,1,4449878.story?coll=la-home-headlines) mention anything about Davis's bashing of his office personal? NO! Did the Times look into Davis's past? NO! They only focused on distroying Arnold. With no proof and even lies they printed made up stories about Arnold and ran with them as if they were true.

You asked about what arnold stands for, he answered this at the beginning. You also asked how he will lower California's debt. Anorld ran a full page ad in the WSJ or the NYT, I can't remember but the LA Times NEVER commented on it. They only focused on the scandels. Go and check out the 100 day plan Arnold had printed. He did set out a plan. BTW you never heard Davis or Cruz talk about fixing California's debt problem. You only heard them attack Arnold.

It's not Arnold I'm worried about, it's the people that ran his campaign who are the ones that will really be running the show. Unfortunately, there can't be much said for the intelligence of people living in this state. They knew the guy campaigned on nothing except his hollywood status and still voted for him. He dodged any kind of debate except the scripted one at CSUS and he wasn't clear at all on what his plans are--probably because he has none.
