9800 Pro-256 vs 9800XT

Anyone seen any reviews of the two?

Also why did ati go back to DDR1 on the XT when
the 256 Pro used DDR2?

I hope to see the price drop on the 256-Pro.
If it does I might pick one up. :)

9800XT is better than 9800p-256 one. Esp since the XT that was released was 256mb version as well. I assume the performance gap is gonna be same for 9800XT-128 and 9800p-128.

As far as the ddr1 part.. i guess they wanted to reduce cost.

DDR II runs hotter then DDR and is also more expensive the reason for it being on the 9800 Pro 256Mb was for marketing cuz it had the all powerful "II" to make you go wow. :P
