As revealed in yesterdayâ??s look at Chris Robertâ??s Star Citizen (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/10/10/wing-commandeered-chris-roberts-star-citizen-preview/), there is a pledge-based pre-order model for the space-shooter, and itâ??s a â??pledge for your shipâ?? model. A clever idea, I think youâ??ll agree, keeping crowd-funding within the fiction of the game. Mr Roberts explains the idea behind the game in a wide-ranging ten-minute video which you can watch below, or you can step right up and pledge here (http://starcitizen.robertsspaceindustries.com/). Theyâ??re looking to raise $2m, but I guess weâ??ll see about that.
