Sweet!
By the time my 9600 Pro arrives, plenty of people will have tested them out :)

Put these drivers though my NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 lockup test. So far so good. Gonna test Halo in a while. Nice to have these drivers come out so I can use/test them before my weekend LAN party. :)

I've got em and have them up on two flight sim boards and will let you all know the outcome.
the 3.8s are sucking major balls on IL-2FB and LOMACdemo-hopefully this will help ;)

I can confirm this as well. Too bad because these drivers rock for D3D. :(

The only OGL game I play is Half-Life... and I havent felt like playing that in a while... so OGL bugs dont mean much to me right now.
3.9?
You guys should visit DriverHeaven. :)
These are only 3.8's with a leaked ICD stuck to the end of them.
These Omega 3.9 are 100% based on beta
It seems it's Control panel beeing much Worse buggy from the 3.8
I will stay with 3.8

Omega is a beta tester.
He did sign an NDA.
He would have to get CM's permission first. I haven't heard him do so.

The drivers were leaked from Dell, and from what I gather everything was cool from ATI for him to release these drivers. Doesn't really matter too much to me because of the OpenGL issues AnteP and I had. But AFAIK there's no NDA violation here.

i would like to try these drivers, but since i play mainly openGL games (read Wolfenstein:enemy teritory) i am concerned with what u said.....could you please explain little better?is control panel broken in some way or what?

It's not the control panel that's broken, it's a driver bug. Setting any level of AA or aniso for OpenGL doesn't work. The control panel will say 6xAA but in games there's no AA being done at all. This is not an issue in the official 3.8 drivers.

Then maybe you'd be more inclined to try these (http://www.warp2search.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=14906) ? ;)
