Hey all, I got some funds from the sale of some speakers today and I am about to buy a new card.

I know most Nvida boards are the same no matter the manufacturer but still would like some help. I am looking at two cards EVGA e-GeForce FX 5900 or the BFG Asylum 5900 which are both being sold at a affordable price but I cant find a review using Google, only for the ultra versions. As anyone heard good things from them or ever bought a card from them and can vouch for them?

Your voice and time is appreciated.:)

Here are the links.

If I were you, I wouldn't buy one online, I would buy it at a store near you. This way you'll have like 30 days to play with it and if you don't like it you can return for something else and not be hit with shipping costs of returning and a re-stocking fee.

I just got back from Best Buy this evening. They had BFG 5900's (non-ultras)for $224.00 after rebate! They were 275 with a $50.00 rebate. On top of that you could use a %10 coupon today. So it would have cost less than $200.00. That would have been a bargin. I wonder if BB is dropping BFG cards all together. Every single BFG brand card was on clearance.

I've had excellent service with eVGA and know nothing about BFG. Between the two my choice is eVGA.

I'd get BFG, if just for their True Lifetime Warranty. It extends past the shelf life of the board itself.

Yes the LeadTech looks very cool. You can also sqeeze extra out of it. They have excellent support.....personally emailed assistance.
