WOOT
I guess after the original one got spanked all over the place by the NV36
Yes we all know it: Competition is good - but one more thing -Confusion ain't good ...
I guess that even I that hang around here every day will start and get confused with all the different flavours of gfx cards today
On Nvidia side
FX 5200 64 bit
5200 normal
5200 Ultra
5600 normal
5600 ultra
5600 ultra respinned
5700 - there is bound to be 2 versions or is there only one???
5900 - normal
5900 - ultra
5950 - is it only ultra or is there two as well , now add onto that differing clock and memory speeds that manufacturers like EVGA/Gainward put and voila :D
+ add different memory sizes like the 5600 with 256 mb of memory - n00b cheat award goes to it ;) on Nvidia side
On ATI side
9000
9100
9200 SE (64 bit)
9200
9500
9500 pro
9600
9600 pro
9600 XT
9600 XT - respin???
9800 SE
9800
9800 Pro
9800 256 MB Pro
9800 XT
Add in All in wonder cards in the mix as well with somehwat different speeds and doh ... did someone menton that there will be a 9600 variety with 256 bit bus as well?
there maybe more but these are all that I can remember at this time
All in all I am interested how will they clock the new R9600XT as in that Hexus article NV36 spanks it rather hard IMO.
Does NV36 have 256 bit bus or what? I didn't follow (as card speed is about the same )
