I have managed to clone my TV-out but when I play movies (avi files) in windows media player, the movie is not appearing on the TV screen = everything else does!

HELP!

I have the latest drivers - I have checked just now. It is also happening when I play DVD's as well.

Hmm, try setting the Hardware Acceleration under the WMP options to "none" and see if that fixes it. Actually I hear that newer Nvidia drivers disable the video out when playing a DVD or something like that, maybe try using an older driver? Also you might want to try using another media player to play the videos.

Are you running a Dual Monitor setup?

I have got a vga monitor and a tv connected to the 5200. I have set it up as a clone.

Ok, when i do that certin videos only play on eather the TV and shows up as black on my monitor, or vice a versa.

Its a werid dual monitor thing, sometimes video cant be shown on other monitors, try disabling your TV then see what happens.

Heh, glad I could help. Sometimes the simplest solution is also the best, go figure.
