Has anyone else expirenced this? Someone from the Halo PC forums expirenced it.

In BF1942 the ground flickers a lot sometimes but framerate and lag are decreased tremendously.

Yep, I've had to go back to older drivers. Textures just dissapear altogether. I've even had multi coloured textures as if I'm overclocking.

EDIT: This is DC only, BF regular and its expacks and mods like FH are not affected as far as I can tell.

I have not had such bad luck. BF1942 seems to work fine and Halo runs a LOT smoother. Im a happy bunny.

Ok I'll test aswell soon. Hopefully its just a DC issue.

This driver (52.16) seems quite buggy-
Here is a quote from the release notes concerning BF1942:

GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and GeForce4 Ti 4400, Windows XP: Rendering
corruption in Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat.
This fix will be included in the next NVIDIA.com driver release.

...? and when will that be? Did we not wait long enough for this garbage driver? BF1942 is one of the most popular games being played today. How could nV release a driver this buggy?

Whew, luckily its only for DC and I've also confirmed this. U know, DC can fix it themselves also, in an upcoming patch.

I play FH and BF more anyway so no problem.
