Hello,

I just sold my Radeon and got a new Ti4800SE. So far everything is working great!

A question: With my ATI, there was a feature in control panel called "theatre mode". Does anyone know if there is an equivilant for Nvidia?

This was my favorite mode, because I could be playing back a movie (ie divx) on the TV, and someone could be using the computer at the same time.

What should I select to playback movies in control panel?

Wow.. quite a downgrade in speed actually, well, unless you already spent a week fighting with the radeon trying to get it working at all. After two years of fighting with different ATI cards on different setups, it's bliss in troublefree nvidia land for me. :) Welcome.

I feel really sorry for you...Had the best card there is and you give it up...

Hey, I was only kidding, as encouraged to do so by pingu. It was actually an 8500.

yeah.. 8500 to a Ti 4800 will be a HUGE upgrade for you. AF is not all that fast but it looks great.

The nice thing about GF4 Ti's is they have next to no issue with any game whatsoever. They are a solid well rounded design, have nice features and are generally very fast without AA or AF.

You should really notice a difference :)

Wow. Triplex card. Very nice. Those are some very cool looking cards, and going from an 8500 was a smart choice. Good card, great price. Enjoy it. :)
