No offense but yes, you are one of the ones I was talking about. AthlonXP1800 (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19974) and digitalwanderer are others.

One option Baron touched on in the other thread is listing the specs elsewhere and then linking in the sig.
Anandtech has a page where people can list their computers. http://www.anandtech.com/myanandtech.html

Another option: it is possible to have "My Computer Specs" and "Misc. System Specs" lines on a persons profile using a VBulletin hack.

Problems with these approachs are how often do people actually look at profiles? Also people are lazy and won't click a link to the profile or system rig. And thing is people just got to list their computer. Some folks are understandably proud of their rigs, while for others its an ego trip.

Other points: Yes, listing pc specs can be useful, but listing 3rd and 4th computers? C'mon now.

imo if someone can't fit in their computer specs in 3 lines, its information overkill.
