Cousin joining Marines

My 2nd cousin, whom I partially raised to adulthood. I helped him with his values and morals. Left for basic training today for the USMC. He has a newborn child, which is the reason for his delayed entry program.

I am excited, but also nervous. I am proud of Private Travis Ryan Lambert. He was sworn in this morning.

As far as I know, Parris Island is the only Marine training location. There might be another one on the western part of the country, but I've only heard of Parris Island.
