The boys in Cupertino sure are doing a bang-up job here. Kudos to all of 'em. :thumbsup:

Yep, way to go! Keep it up and you'll soon have even SMALLER market share.

Or, these Apple users will get worse at doing what they berate us Windows users for - pirating copies of new operating systems. :eek:

I can see a new breed of Mac commercials where some college freshman talks about how using MacOS means he knows he's getting his money's worth - because it's securerererer than Windows.

You ask for it, I got it. :D

My name Cory, I'm a freshman at Mountain State Podunk University and I just bought this cool new iBook. It came loaded with Mac OS 10.2.6, which we in the know call Jaguar, because it's so fast at like, everything. I got my iTunes loaded and I cut these cool movies of my friends and me drinking all the time.

<camera cuts to film of kid puking his guts out>

Oh man, Brandon shouldn't have had that second fifth of vodka hehehe.

<camera cuts again to screen, only this time it displays the following message>

YUO HAEV BEEN HAX0RED, STOOPID MACINTUSH USAR. I EXPLODED A SECURITEE HOEL IN YUOR MACINTUSH OSSS XX. LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!111 LOVE JEFFK!!!!!!

<camera cuts back>

Oh man, that is like, so not cool. But see Apple is so cool, whenever there's a problem they always have a download to fix it real fast. Just lemme go to their web site and we'll be all good.

<screen flashes>

It seems that you're running an older version of Mac OS X. While there probably should be a fix to stop this issue you're experiencing, we're not going to make one. Instead, you should upgrade to OS 10.3 to receive all current and future updates, and by future we mean until the next big OS update in six months.

By the way, did we mention OS 10.3 will cost you 129 beans? Will that be cash, check or charge? Perhaps you'd rather purchase a family license for only $70 more? Why don't we just put five family licenses in your cart now for when you tell your family and friends to switch to Apple. If you order now, you'll receive absolutely free, a bright blue iBrator, autographed and hand-delivered by Steve Jobs himself. And as an even bigger bonus, Steve will personally open up the iBrator and sing Rolling Stones songs while he pulls down your pants repeatedly inserts the iBrator where the sun don't shine. Don't wait, order now! Now! NOW GOD ****** Hit that checkout button, slimebag. You're part of the Apple family now, beyotch. We...own...your...soul....

And I was about to buy a 15" powerbook:(

I guess I only have a couple of other choices, buy a HP nc8000, or a M:460... (and then install Linux on it :D )

I've always wanted a Titanium iBook to put Linux on. That's the perfect combination of function and form you can get in a PC, IMO.

Apple Computer: Proudly going out of business for the past 20 years :)

Anyway this whole thread just became a non issue. Jaguar owners will get their fixes too.
