sound dying

i'm running fedora test 3, on an epox 8rda, and using the onboard sound with nvidia's sound module (nvaudio.) my problem is that when i leave my computer for an extended period of time, my sound stops working. it also stops working after i shut down America's Army. the only way i know to fix this is to reboot the computer. does anyone know what's going on here, or if it's possible to refresh the sound module without having to reboot?

Make sure artsd or esd is not keeping the device open. However I also have a little random trouble with these drivers sometimes not responding, but most of the time they work sweet, you ever get the drain dac error? Hopefully the next driver release will make the audio work predictably, fingers crossed.
