Hello,
I am having some problems with Vice City game. First I will tell you my HW and SW configuration; AMD 2600XP+, 1024 MB DDR 400 MHz RAM, SATA 120GB DISK, NVIDIA 5900 ULTRA MyVivo (Leadtek-WinFast) Windows XP Pro, Latest 52.16 WHQL ForceWare The another computer is basically the same except the graphics card which is GForce ti4800. And on that one everything runs without problems. Now in VC on first configuration I experience slower performance and game stops for 0.5-1 second no mater if I change resolution, color depth, draw distance, reinstall drivers or over-clock the card. I can understand that such stops are at the beginning of game play but this happens while playing and passing from one part of the city to another. This is usually at least 0.5s slower than on 4800. Does anybody know what could be the problem? I had surfed dozens of sites searching for the answer but I haven’t found the reason.
