I am trying to test something and it requires me to install the 41.09 drivers with my fx5900 and I had the 51.16's installed and when I remove the drivers it won't recognize the card with the 41.09's. I have been reading around and i know that these drivers will work with the card. I have succesfully installed the 45.23's without problem and I have used the driver cleaner program available and it still won't recognize the card with the drivers. Could someone tell me what to do?

I'm pretty sure the 41.09 drivers don't work on the 5900. They work on the 5800. Double check the .inf file, but I think you'll be SOL on those drivers.

Use the 45.23's. They seem to be best on the 5900's right now.

Thank you for your input people. I believe that installing the 51.16's must have done something to my system. See I am working on getting an alpha version of some not-to-be named software running and I have got it running on a computer at work with s3 prosavage graphics and on my dad's computer which I built for him which has a ti4600 running with the 41.09 drivers because it didn't work with the 45.23's and I had read that nothing past the 41.09's would work. Plus I know others have gotten it too work with their 5900's. So I tell you what. If there is anyone out there who understands what I am trying to do and has any suggestions "Please PM me" to avoid this thread getting removed and this way I get some feedback without violating any rules. I would appreciate it!
