I'm going to upgrade soon fellas, and i need a few ideas.

in the past, i've used Abit, Asus and MSI boards without much heartache.

anyone got any new P4 model boards that are great bang for the buck?

only guidline is that i don't want any onboard video chips - firewire and USB 2.0 are secondary concerns.

thanks for all the posts ahead of time..

The ASUS P4P800 also comes with SATA RAID as standard :)

i doubt i'll set up a RAID configuration - but ASUS is a good company for sure.

Yes, my Asus board has been great. Although I have heard reports of sound problems with the P4P800. The sound on my P4C800-E Deluxe is very nice.

Make sure you check to see if it was just a matter of fixing a driver for the P4P800 if that is what you decide on. :)

The 2 best way to go in my opinion is either the ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe or the Intel D875PBZ both are awesome boards. I own both and would be hard pressed to decide between the 2.:firedevil
