Hi all,

anyone out there succeeded on compiling nvnet 0261 with Fedora Core 1? Here it spits lots of error msgs and bail out...

Aside from this, Fedora has been awesome so far :D (BTW: nvnet does work with vanilla 2.4.22 kernel on Fedora; it's only kernel 2.4.22-nptl that comes with Fedora that causes troubles).

TIA

Andre

Well, to make a long story short: I finally managed to compile nvnet with Fedora default kernel.

The downside of it is that there was no real magic, I don't know exactly what was causing the error, and some weird things still happen when I try to compile a custom kernel

Please read the dirty details here (http://www.fedorachat.org/viewtopic.php?p=17#17)

Best,

Andre

before compiling nvnet do:
export CC=gcc32

FYI, there is an open source of nvnet in 2.6.0-test9-mm4, it's called forcedeth
