Hello all,

I have a problem with the new NVidia drivers for Quadro graphic cards.
I have a autostereo monitor and some programs that use OpenGL to display video on this monitor.

The problem is that I use horizontal spanning so that I can work on my 2D monitor and see the results on the 3D monitor automatically. This was working fine until I installed the newest drivers. 52.14

My 2D monitors flickers as it would be used for shutter glasses. How can i turn this "feature" off. I can't work on a flickering monitor as you all can understand.

Thanks a lot.

Marco.

Hello,

I have more information on that problem

It only happens when the OpenGL window is running in full screen mode on the 3D stereo monitor, looks like the driver does not recognise that the full mode is only on one monitor and not on both.

When using Visual Studio .NET in debug mode, works fine... I don't get it.

Any way to fix it !?

Thanks.

Marco.

The age old driver theorm should come into play right about now:

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

:p IE put the old drivers back in. Isn't 52.16 the latest WHQL drivers anyway?

Yeah, 52.16 is the latest Quadro certified driver.

I thought it depends on which app you're referring to?

Hello,

Although the driver download page shows the 52.14, Í downloaded now the 52.16. Same problem.

I made some experiments and this is what happens:

If the taskbar is also stretched to the second monitor, everything works fine. But if It's not there, either because I set it to be limited to one monitor in the desktop manager or because I move it to the left so that it becomes vertically adjusted and only visible in the 2D monitor... the problem occurs.

Well, now it's not so bad as before, but still it's not what I want. Hope anyone of you knows something.

By the way, Is this message more related with the driver forum ? I thought based on the fact that it is a Quadro card it would fit better here.

Cheers.
