I have Linux 7.2 and I ran the setup command to configure my grafics card but did that incorrectly. now once my systems boots into the X windows, I cant log into the system to use it. how can I just get the system to boot into run level 3 during boot since I cant get any video output?
ANy help is appreciated.

I don't remember, Red Hat Linux 7.2 uses GRUB as a bootloader? If yes, do the following. Power on your PC, when you will see bootloader graphical screen with Red Hat logo press 'a'. This will put you into kernel command line arguments editing mode. Simply press 'space' key and add an additional argument (the desired runlevel; for instance, 3). Press 'Enter', and you will boot in runlevel 3.
