What's an ".lzh" file? (BTW-It's a 67Mb download)

LZH is OLD SKOOL compression. As in, I used LZH all the time on the Amiga. That and LHA were the preferred forms of compression on the Amiga.
Why anyone would distribute anything nowadays with LZH is beyond me, but I believe WinZip WILL in fact open it.

I was going to throw winace & winrar at it and see what happened, but I still got about 33% to go.
I let ya know if I find out what will open it. :)

Winace opened it just spiffy for me, I'm off to install & play with it as soon as I post up on EB's front page about it. :)

I'm at 3.5Ghz to stay consistant with the other benchmarks I have already done. Although is shows me at 3.488Mhz. :( Let's see everyone else's... :)

Any idea why my FX5200U liked the Star Fighter Demo more than either of you guys? lol...
Wish there was a bit more info on the Demo's. :(
Peace,
:thinker:
Im a little annoyed, the second cpu test will not run for me, it just closes the program without any errors at all. So Ive de selected that test, just to compare what resaults I do have.

No, but I was wondering about it too. You've got an OCed 5200 Ultra, right?
Downloaded and used WinRAR successfully: total 2792...see attached...

Yes, however it is only @ 364/714 and still stock cooling. My Star Fighter Demo Score is even better than jswcpm, and he's got a 5900U!!! Strange, very strange...
Peace,
:)

that is interesting that your starfighter is higher than mine - but my 3D overall is higher .(not bragging- the score is the score)...maybe the 5900U has a problem with starfighter - (looked good however)..comparing stats - i can get to 17014 if i oc the card to 500/920.....haven't tried that on these results as yet...
bye the way - i forgot - how do i paste my .jpg score into this screen so that you don't need to do an attachment???...help would be appreciated..
- in any event, the scenes from the demo and benchmarks looked great on the screen...

Right click on the attachment after you have posted it, copy shotcut, edit your original post and add the image like [img]. :)
And no, I don't care about the scores... that's like asking you to do a Intel benchmark program if they had one...lol. What I am interested in is how the Demo's are designed and what shaders or optimizations they have done. I thought it might be special because of the AMD/Nvidia bond, what your score as well as ragejg proved otherwise. Interesting to say the very least...

Couldn't be the SSE2 instructions could it?
Peace,
thanks...added the image per your instructions!!...i too am interested in the scores - primarily to see if my machine is operating properly and to see how far i can push things - at least conservatively --(i like to build my personal computers and do so everytime there is a "quantum" change in technology!!...but these starfighter numbers are interesting!!...

Your welcome, but I left out one word while replying to your post...lol. That was I don't care about the results as this test has surely been more optimized to show the performance of AMD CPU's than to take advantage of Intel's power. The thing that is most interesting is that thus far, you all have the lack of SSE2 instructions. While some of us have Nvidia hardware, so there lies the conundrum. :D
Peace,
;)
