Stereo and Quadro4 with 3123 drivers

Has anyone been able to do stereo with the setting "Stereo" "3"? I can get settings 1 and 2 to work (I can see it on the screen), but to hook the 3pin mini din emitter up I need option 3.

I can't remember what stereo mode 3 is but we have a 3-pin emitter box and have it working with the quadro4 under Linux.

Note stereo doesn't work if TwinView is enabled.
