Warning ppl who do not know that Riva Tuner really stuff ur FX card up when overclocking.

I tested with 3DMark2003 with default Overclock and Overclocked.
the score dun change. Then I leave the 3D Overclock at default, then overclock 2D core then strangely the score goes up.

Then I thought maybe they mixed up 2D and 3D overclocking options.
SO 2D is 3D and 3D is 2D option.

But unfortunately it's not wat I thought.

I can only overclock 2D up to 450MHz and then starts locking up but score increased. But 3D just dun work in Riva Tuner yet sadly.

So now I am using nVHardPage to tune quality setting and overclock with CoolBits activated. and everything is working.

Remind u all that, even with Riva Tuner when overclocking in Nvidia control panel Coolbits thing, still does the same bug.

Overclocking in 2D mode is really pointless as it's down to the bandwith, aka AGP Vs PCI.

Wat I said was when overclocking with RivaTuner installed and overclocking enabled, it doesn't work. running any 3Dapplication , it still read 2D clock speed. I have tested with 3DMark2003 by looking at the score if it increase or not by adjusting the 3D core. But sadly when I overclock 3D core, the score stays the same. But when I clock the 2D core, the score goes up and that's wat I was saying.

Bug bug bug

Neither me (with NV30/34 based systems) nor my testers team with NV30/35/38 can reproduce the problem you are talking about. I'm afraid that you're doing something wrong.

BTW you can always use RT's hardware monitor to track 2D/3C clock frequency changes.
